While in Montreal between 1991 and 1996, Dino worked on a software project combining expert systems and patient information. In Atlanta, he started HealthOvation.com to leverage his skills in education, population health and evidence-based medicine using technology. The venture proved to be badly timed, as it was started in 2000, the year in which the Internet bubble burst, and bad year to start another internet health information site.
While in Maryland, he published The Physician Executive, a blog under the pen-name Zagreus Ammon. Once he settled in Washington State, he began working with his wife on SanZoe Healthcare, a family holding company and consultancy. He purchased a share of Lacamas Medical Group the practice where he is employed, and with his partner started Evermed Provider Services. With his wife, he also started PanZoe Health Foundation.
